La Academia estadounidense de las Artes y las Ciencias Interactivas ha presentado la lista con los candidatos a los premios D.I.C.E., algo así como los "Óscar" de los videojuegos. Premios que se entregarán en Las Vegas el 7 de febrero.

El juego que más nominaciones tiene, con once, es Journey, del estudio independiente Thatgamecompany optando a: Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Outstanding Innovation in Gaming, Downloadable Game of the Year, Casual Game of the Year, Outstandign Achievement in Art Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Gameplay Engineering, Outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay, Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition, Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design y Outstanding Achievement in Story.

Otros títulos como Far Cry 3, The Walking Dead, Halo 4... le siguen en cuanto a nominaciones.

En la categoría a Game of the Year (juego del año), además de Journey, nos encontramos con Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, The Walking Dead y X-COM: Enemy Unknown.

En Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction (dirección) serán Dishonored, Farcry 3, The Unfinished Swan y The Walking Dead sus competidores.

En otros apartados, las nominaciones a mejor juego de rol: Diablo III, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Guild Wars 2, Mass Efect 3 y Torchlight 2.
